Does Porchlight pay for accepted pieces?
At this time, Porchlight is unable to offer compensation for any published poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography, or art. Porchlight is currently edited and compiled on a volunteer basis and has no regular income from which to pay contributors.
Can I purchase a hardcover copy of Porchlight?
We are currently considering the creation of a hardbound edition containing issues of Porchlight.
Do you read every submission?
Yes. We read every single one.
If I have never been published, what are my chances of being published in Porchlight?
Pretty good. We do not take previous publishing history into account when we make our decisions. We simply choose pieces that we love.
