Have you been wondering where our next issue is? Have you thought to yourself: the Fall Issue should be out by now!
You are right.
It is with great sadness that I must announce the end of Porchlight. We have one more issue to produce and those who have been accepted, plus a few more lucky souls, will make it into our final issue, due out by the end of the year.
But after that, our designer is moving on to bigger and better things, and as you may suspect, it is hard to find a graphic designer willing to put in the time and the labor that our issues require, with absolutely no monetary compensation.
The editorial staff is kicking around ideas for a new literary magazine, with a different slant, to launch sometime in 2011.
In the meantime, please enjoy our short run of fantastic issues, and check back for our final, SUPER issue, after the holidays.
